Bethan has been teaching yoga classes in Bristol since 2009, her classes are inspired by Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Viniyoga and influenced by Tai Chi & Tantric Philosphy. She trained at YogaCampus London, for her British Wheel of Yoga Diploma and has subsequently taken Ashtanga training in New Zealand with John Scott, in Colorado with Richard Freeman, in Edinburgh with David Swenson, and in Bristol with Ashtanga and Breathwork master teacher Christopher Gladwell. She studied Viniyoga with senior teacher Paul Harvey and her current teacher is Yoga Elder, Sarah Harlow who co-developed the Yogasara Krama Vinyasa Tantra teaching method.
She teaches regularly in Hut 6399, Bristol Yoga Space and online, plus 1-2-1 lessons to focus on specific student needs.
A certified ITM Alexander Technique teacher, Bethan brings a unique understanding of how we can improve posture to bring greater freedom and ease to our movements on and off the mat.
As a remedial and sports massage therapist she supports clients to address injuries and muscular imbalances, improve performance and recovery, and relax overworking muscles.
